GPS IIR-20 (M) is the seventh of the modernized GPS satellites, incorporating various improvements to provide greater accuracy, increased resistance to interference, and enhanced performance for users. The satellite was successfully launched aboard a Delta II 7925-9.5 vehicle at 4:34 am EDT on March 24, 2009 from Space Launch Complex 17A at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, FL.
