Viewed from the side, the full length of the S3/S4 Truss is seen.
Looking down the S4 Truss the solar array storage and deployment cannisters can be seen.
Top, left of center the accordian-folded heat radiator can be seen.
These angled struts absorb the torsional stresses on the S3 truss as S4 constantly moves to position the solar arrays for optimal
effeciency.
The ISS connection end of the S3 truss. Because of two additional storage pallets, shown in folded-for-flight position, this will be the heaviest lift of any Shuttle flight.
